Certificates from the Riverside County Clerk-Recorder are typically available within 4-6 weeks of the event. For death certificates, allow 8 days from the date of death. Upon receiving birth and death records from the County of Riverside University Health System-Public Health, Office of Vital Records, Birth and Death Certificates are also issued by the Riverside County Clerk-Recorder for all years. To purchase a birth certificate, allow 21 days from the date of birth. The Office of Vital Records also issues certified copies of births and deaths that occurred in Riverside County during the current year or previous year. Notice: The County of Riverside University Health System-Public Health, Office of Vital Records registers all births and deaths that occur within the County of Riverside.
